People online are incredibly creative and showcase their talents in unique and often hilarious ways on social media.
Recently,
an Odia user named Bijay, who goes by the handle "BashiPakhala" on
the X platform, shared a screenshot of an editing screen showing that he
received 15 lakhs of rupees.
This amount
was supposedly promised by Modi during the 2014 election campaign, where he
claimed that BJP would bring black money back to India.
The video
where Modi made this promise is still available on YouTube, where he said each
individual, including the poorest, would receive between 15 to 20 lakhs.
However, this money was never distributed to the people.
In Bijay’s
post, he shared a screenshot of his account showing the 15 lakhs, captioned,
“Mine came tomorrow... and anyone who got? Thank you, Modiji.” The post quickly
garnered attention from many users in Odisha.

One user
commented, “During Naveen Babu's government in Odisha for 24 years, you only
had 2 rupees in your account—wow!” Bijay replied, saying, “I had money, but in
the past three months, the lotter (indicating BJP) has looted everything.”
Another
user pointed out the 2 rupees, noting that after receiving the 15 lakhs,
Bijay's total was 15 lakhs and 2 rupees.
Another
user suggested, “With those 2 rupees, you might as well tweet.” Yet another
commented, “If I had this money, I would have a girlfriend as well, but since I
don’t have the money, I don’t have a girlfriend either.” Bijay humorously
responded, “Sure, you’ll get that, as the new Odisha CM Mohan Majhi will give
you a girlfriend.”
Many more
hilarious comments followed, and the post is going viral in Odia communities on
the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.
